“Heaven, She Wrote”

A short one, but one I felt I absolutely had to make.

“Heaven, She Wrote”

A soothing summer rain
And growling gathering storm;
Her vanity free unchained
And hatred in every form;

Four weeks of quivering bliss
Falling in the face of war,
Like clouds in telluric mists,
Like souls amongst the flickering stars.

All the things she left afloat
And all the dreams she made and broke –
Those are the Heaven that she wrote
And all the Hell that she spoke.
