Some of these lines were extremely tough to accept and immortalize. I hope some of you can appreciate the exposed and unfiltered struggle. Overall, I’m deeply insecure about how it turned out, yet oddly contempt with the fact that it ACTUALLY turned out.

I’ve tried to turn a blind eye
To days I’ve loved and rued,
Yet, more the fool was I,
For she was all I knew.

Fears escaped within –
A blinding chase uncouth;
Her lips against my skin,
As a crown upon my youth.

Dreams dripped down the walls
In strange phantasmagoria
And I rose to heed the calls
Of a maddening euphoria.

I’ve hidden faith in plainest sight,
In whispers so frail and few
And I realised in delight
That she already knew.

And I was born anew.
